Hilex Poly: Building Relationships to Increase Recycling

As part of our effort to build relationships with organizations that share our goal of reducing waste by increasing recycling, I’m proud to announce that Hilex Poly is now a member of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI), an international trade association that promotes the scrap recycling industry.

When people use the phrase “a rising tide lifts all boats” it not only applies to economics but sustainability as well. Hilex Poly is honored to become a part of the ISRI family to help grow sustainable practices and jobs in America through recycling.  We look forward to supporting the organization’s mission in their work to educate the public about recycling.

Currently, our staff at Hilex goes above and beyond to show their support for recycling education by attending local events, meeting with legislators and inviting guests into our facilities to learn more about the recycling process. With this partnership, I’m looking forward to new adventures with the ISRI family. This is a great opportunity to work together and increase plastic bag and film recycling across the country.
