I am extremely grateful for the opportunities the organization has provided me. In my 20 years with the organization, I have been fortunate to have 10 different roles throughout finance, sales, product/category management, and supply chain. Throughout the many experiences, the one constant has been the great people who are the core of the organization’s success.

I joined the company 22 years ago in the lowest position, which is packer, and I have been moving up in terms of responsibilities and knowledge, to the point where I am now a packer operator at DJD, STS on line C106.

I began my career in 2001 as a production associate assembling boxes. After four years, I started operating a thermoformer machine, and my supervisor recognized my leadership potential. He gave me the opportunity to become a Team Leader, where I developed SOPs for my area and trained new operators. In 2007, I became the pioneer in the process department at the Zapopan plant and received seven months of training in Chicago. Following this rewarding experience, I was promoted to mechanical technician, a role I held for three years, which broadened my knowledge. In 2018, I advanced to the position of Process Engineer, thanks to the trust placed in me by colleagues and my dedication to success. I continue to enjoy this journey with Novolex.

I began my career in Printing in 1982 and joined the Plant City Team in August of 1995. Over the past 30 years, I have worked my way up in the Printing Department. I started out as a Press Technician and am currently the Printing Coordinator for C Crew, a position that I’ve held now for fifteen years. I’ve been able to see firsthand how the business has evolved with newer presses, better technology, and robots. I enjoy working with everyone and challenge myself to train fellow Team Members on preventative maintenance to help them progress their own careers. I’m grateful that I continue to learn new things on a daily basis and have the opportunity to lead others.
