Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct

The conduct of every Novolex employee is fundamental to our reputation and sustainable growth. Our goal is to ensure that sound business practices are in place across all aspects of our operations to build trust among our employees, our commercial partners, the communities where we live and work, and others we interact with. The Novolex Employee Code of Conduct is the foundation of our compliance and ethics program and outlines seven principles for conducting business with the highest standards of ethics and integrity. The Novolex Human Rights Policy prohibits illegal, forced or involuntary labor, human trafficking, child labor or other unfair or discriminatory labor practices. We also expect our suppliers to share our commitment to behaving ethically and with integrity and require that they adhere to the Novolex Supplier Code of Conduct. More information about our expectations of suppliers can be found in the Supply Chain Responsibility section of this website. Both the Novolex Employee Code of Conduct and Novolex Supplier Code of Conduct provide access to the Novolex Ethics & Compliance Hotline that employees and suppliers can use to report potential violations confidentially and without fear of retaliation.

Compliance

All Novolex facilities comply with environmental regulations in every jurisdiction in which we operate. We conduct internal and third-party site audits to review compliance with regulations and standards, evaluate programs, and review processes. We incorporate audit findings into our policies, regularly updating them to reflect best practices to reduce the environmental impacts of our facilities. Programs that manage waste diversion and recycling, manage hazardous waste, and maintain safe workplaces in combination with Novolex governance policies ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and industry standards.
