Responsible business practices and ethical conduct are fundamental to every aspect of Novolex. The Novolex Employee Code of Conduct explains our expectations for all employees. Every new employee must sign the code when they join the company to acknowledge their understanding and commitment to the code, and they must resign the code annually thereafter. The Novolex Ethics and Integrity Speak-Up Policy further assures employees that they can raise concerns without fear of retaliation. As part of our commitment to responsible business conduct, employees can access the Novolex Ethics and Compliance Hotline if they believe there have been potential violations of the code without fear of retaliation. Ethics and Compliance HotlineThe Novolex Human Rights Policy sets forth our responsibilities, commitments, and expectations with regard to respecting and promoting human rights across our business activities. We support a workplace in which employees can grow, contribute, and participate free from discrimination and unfair treatment. We value our diversity which can elicit unique contributions from each of colleagues and allows them to achieve their individual potential. The Novolex Employee Code of Conduct includes provisions that reflect our Human Rights Policy. Respect for human rights starts with zero tolerance for the use of child labor or slave, abusive, forced or bonded labor, as well as human trafficking. Novolex abhors such practices and has instituted a variety of practices to safeguard human rights and promote fair labor practices in our workplace. The Novolex Supplier Code of Conduct extends our commitment to protect human rights to our supply chain partners. The Novolex Modern Slavery Statement explains Novolex initiatives to prevent the use of slave labor in our workplaces or supply chains in compliance with the U.K. Modern Slavery Act, the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act, the Dutch Child Labor Due Diligence Act, the U.S. Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act, and Canada’s Forced and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act.
